CARRIE PARRY Wins The Green Fashion Competition at Amsterdam Fashion Week

If you know anything about me, you know I love CARRIE PARRY‘s amazing and sustainable designs not to mention the lady behind them. I was so happy to hear that she was honored with a big fat win at The Green Fashion Competition at Amsterdam Fashion Week. Nobody deserves it more and I think you’ll agree when you lay eyes on her designs below.
Carrie not only cares about how garments are sourced, she also designs around how they’re worn making pieces that are ethical and versatile with removable elements that can help you achieve wardrobe longevity – another really important aspect of a sustainable lifestyle. Carrie won based on her business plan, her dedication to sustaining the world’s biodiversity and of course producing killer fashion. She was up against hundreds of other designers and while this is not her first award — she also earned Ethical Fashion Forum’s 2011 Innovation U.S.A. Award and a spot at Designer & Agents’ Green Room — it’s certainly a top notch accomplishment. Yay, Carrie!!
The colors and prints! Ah.Mah.Zing.
XOXO,
Zanna
