Yesterday I went to a sweet clothing swap run by Elizabeth & Clarke, which I’ll tell you lots more about in a later post. But first, the big question is (I’m sure): what did I wear? Well, at a clothing swap, you need to be able to move freely in case you spot that awesome item and see some other girls going for it. Also, you need to wear stuff that is easy to get on and off for quick trying-stuff-on purposes. I thought my chunky vintage sweater, was the perfect choice.

I got it for about $18 at Beacon’s Closet, one of my fav vintage/thrifts shops and I’m obsessed with it. It was finally cold enough to wear comfortably so, voila!

I paired it with another one of my favorite pieces, my vintage Dooney & Bourke messenger bag. It was the perfect size for my camera, wallet and business cards but not too cumbersome.

As for my accessories, I rocked a vintage Malachite bracelet that I found at some boutique years ago, the Gwazy bracelet by 31bits and a sterling silver beaded bracelet by JADEtribe. As for that pretty gold shiner, that’s a family tradition, heirloom of sorts from Hawaii.

And, yes, the above photo is slightly blurry. So sue me.

This is one of the easiest outfits ever that you can totally replicate by just shopping a vintage tunic, large knit sweater. Throw it over jeans and boots and it’s like the winter version of your go-to jeans/t-shirt ensemble.

I had tons of fun at the swap and even got my picture taken at the Fashism photo booth. Hopefully I’ll get my hands on those pics and repost them here! Stay tuned for more on all that biz.

Lovez,

Zanna
