Rejoice you heat haters! It’s almost the autumnal season of cool breezes, jackets, stylish layering, pretty colors and not sweating your ass off! I, personally, am super excited for it mostly because of the fashion. I adore scarves and boots and jeans and all that this transition season entails. In honor of Autumn, I have put together a round-up of some eco-friendly items that I’m in love with. May they inspire you to stay green and head into fall with a big fat bang.

Eco-Friendly Fall Picks

1. Bamboo Jersey Tights, $22, American Apparel: Made with mostly eco-friendly bamboo!

2. Vintage Navy Wool Feather Wide Brim Hat, $28, BECKYDROLEN VINTAGE via Etsy

3. Vintage Czech Glass Necklace, $40, Studios29 via Etsy

4. Edun Reversible Jacket, $375, Juno and Jove: Edun is committed to developing trade in Africa and uses primarily Conservation Cotton Initiative Uganda Cotton, which enables them to make changes at the start of the supply chain. They support manufacturers, infrastructure and community building iniatives. Get more detailed info on their website, http://www.edun.com/.

5. Wolf Ring, $154, Alkemie: This fierce (in the animalistic, I’ll-eat-your-face kind of way) is made with 100% reclaimed metal.

6. Epea Tote, $125, Matt & Nat: Talk about fall color! Yum, yum, yummy. This is faux suede and the lining, as is M&N’s way, is made with recycled plastic water bottles.

7. Timberland Earthkeepers Rudston Desert Boot, $135, Zappos.com: I am shocked at how freakin’ cute Tims have become. Not to mention eco-conscious. The leather tannery that makes these is rated Silver for improved energy and waste management, the mesh lining is made from recycled plastic bottles and the rubber is 15% recycled.

8. A Peace Treaty Adire Scarf, $198, Anthropologie: We’ve written about APT before and their amazing efforts. This particular scarf is silk and made by artisans in Pakistan.

Love,

Zanna
